somewhere between modernity & romanticism

The (mostly) visual ramblings of a compulsive mover, shopper, francophile, anglomaniac, aesthete, & consumer of highly civilized cocktails.
So I know it’s like so totally gauche to link/post a picture of yourself from another style blog but I live in style starved Atlanta so get off my back. Thursday I attended the opening of the new Jonathan Adler showroom in the westside district and had my picture taken by the lovely author of Shukorina. In true Happy Chic® fashion I wore my Jack Bryan vintage dress, Kate Spade Keeden shoes in cobalt blue, a skinny J. Crew belt, and my Marc top-handle bag (I really need to get a clutch…).
The party was a great success (i.e. packed), and while Mr. Adler was in attendance, it was way to difficult to get a word with him. Perhaps since I work next door I’ll get the chance to meet him in the near future. In the meantime, I’ll have a bottom-half picture of myself to remember this lovely event.
